BEIJING, Oct. 10 -- China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) will begin a review of the nation's anti-dumping measures on imported polyamide (PA)-6,6 chips from the United States, Italy, Britain and France next Monday.
A sunset review of the five-year measures, first imposed on Oct. 13, 2009 by China's mainland, also involves imports of those PA-6,6 chips, or chemical materials used for plastic and textile making, from Taiwan, according to the MOC on Friday.
The review comes at the request of a domestic company in central China's Henan Province, which says dumping or damages to the domestic industry will recur if the anti-dumping measures are terminated.
The review will begin on Oct. 13 and end before Oct. 13, 2015.
During the review period, PA-6,6 imports from the four countries and the Taiwan region will still be subject to a maximum anti-dumping duty of 37.5 percent.
