SHENYANG, April 10 -- Chinese police have busted a drug trafficking network in the northeastern city of Shenyang, arresting 30 suspects, the local public security bureau announced on Friday.
The gang mainly sold drugs on the Internet, Shenyang police said.
The police found one of the gang members was promoting drugs in an online chatroom, so they posed as buyers and arrested him.
In the dealer's house, the police found about 2,100 grams of methamphetamine.
The police then used information the dealer provided to arrest the other members of the gang.
The operation took a number of months, said the police, who are now building cases against all the gang members.
