
BEIJING, April 27 -- Wang Tianpu, general manager of China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (Sinopec Group), one of the country's oil giants, has been put under investigation for suspected "serious law and discipline violations," according to the top anti-graft authority.
The statement was released Monday by the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
