SHANGHAI, May 21 -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Wednesday held a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif in Shanghai.
The two ministers exchanged views on bilateral relations and international issues of common concern, according to an official press release.
Zarif is here accompanying Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on his visit. Invited by Chinese President Xi Jinping, Rouhani is paying a state visit to China from Tuesday to Thursday.
On Wednesday, Rouhani attended the fourth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
