College graduate launches organic agricultural cooperative in hometownBEIJING, May 30 -- A vice Chinese foreign minister on Friday said that the upcoming sixth ministerial meeting of China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF) will promote its ties with Arab countries
Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the opening ceremony and deliver a speech, the Vice Minister Zhang Ming told a press conference.
Around 200 guests from China and Arab sides will be present at the forum, including Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Zhang added.
He said the forum will mainly focus on the construction of the Silk Road economic belt and the 21st century maritime Silk Road, and promoting the mutual development.
"The CASCF is of great significance to the relations," the minister said. It will further put forward the China-Arab strategic cooperative ties.
The sixth ministerial meeting will be held in Beijing on June 5.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the CASCF.
