DUSHANBE, July 15 (Xinhua) -- The State Savings Bank of Tajikistan, Amonatbonk, has negotiated with China's central bank on the allocation of 20 million U.S. dollars in concessional loan, Amonatbonk Chairman Jamshed Nurmahmadzoda said Tuesday.
Amonatbonk will sign an agreement with the People's Bank of China in September on the loan, which is expected to be used on the construction of the bank's new building and the development of agricultural credit, Nurmahmadzoda told reporters.
In line with a national strategy of Tajikistan, Amonatbonk has closely cooperated with a number of international financial institutions and foreign banks.
The strategy is aimed at reducing poverty rate and boosting economic development of the Central Asian nation.
