BEIJING, July 29 -- Senior Communist Party of China(CPC) official Zhao Leji on Tuesday met with visiting Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean in Beijing.
Zhao, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said China regards Singapore as an important partner.
Zhao, also head of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, reviewed the productive collaboration between the two countries in terms of human resources and professional training.
Zhao said China would like to work with Singapore to enhance political trust,deepen and expand pragmatic cooperation to benefit the two peoples.
Teo Chee Hean, also Singaporean minister for national security and home affairs, said singapore would like to work with China to deepen bilateral relations.
Teo Chee Hean is in Beijing to attend the second China-Singapore Forum on Social Governance held on Monday.
