DUSHANBE, Aug. 11 -- Official departure of Tajik sport delegation to the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China had been held during the weekend in the hall of Tajik Institute of Physical Training, during a solemn meeting devoted to the Athlete' s Day, the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan announced on Monday.
The Tajik team includes wrestlers Ravzatullo Isoev, Tohirjon Ohonov, Firuz Yakubov, judoka Farruh Salimov, swimmer Karina Klimik, archer Anisa Zamirova, shooter Jafar Shermatov and etc..
The team will leave for Nanjing on Aug. 14. The Youth Olympic Games will be held Aug. 16-28.
