Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to Mongolia at the invitation of Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj from August 21st to 22nd.
Xi’s visit to Mongolia is not only his first since taking office, but the first by a Chinese president in 11 years. During the visit, Xi and Elbegdorj will hold talks, sign and issue an important political document, and witness the signing of a series of cooperative agreements in politics, economy, finance, culture and other fields.
Xi will also meet other Mongolian leaders, deliver a speech at Mongolia’s parliament, and take part in economic and trade activities.
