The China Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Expo 2014 came to a close at Xi’an Qujiang International Convention and Exhibition Center on September 21.

As the first international tourism exhibition in China to be built around the Silk Road, this event attracted numerous representatives from 32 countries and regions, including Thailand, South Korea, India, Malaysia, and Iran. In all, there were 136 international buyers, 17 major exhibitors, 34 exhibitors from 24 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government in China. During the event, we received more than 3,000 professional spectators and 30,000 visits by the masses; we also closed 21 tourism industry deals collectively valued at RMB10.567 billion.
