China North Industries Group Corporation (Norinco Group) is going all out in preparation for the upcoming 10th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China), according to a press release from the company on Oct. 30, 2014. It will be the first time the company has participated in this international aviation and aerospace gala as a sponsor, at which it will demonstrate its core products and technological innovations.

Norinco is the main body for research and development of weapons and equipment for China's land forces, and for the destructive and informationized equipment of the PLA army, navy and air force. It has been rated as Class-A State-owned Enterprise (SOE) and ranked among the top SOEs for 10 years since 2004. With 381.2 billion RMB revenues from its main businesses in 2013, it ranked 152nd in the 2014 Fortune Global 500 list, 23rd in the China Top 500 Enterprises list, and 6th in the China Top 500 Manufacturers list.

The group will exhibit a wide variety of high-tech products at the air show, with a lineup that includes armored vehicles, artillery, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), air defense weapons, airborne weapons, and portable weapon for taskforces.

The show will be held in Zhuhai in southeast China's Guangdong province from Nov. 11 to Nov. 16, 2014. It is the only international aerospace trade show in China that is endorsed by the Chinese central government.
