Russia to launch 70 Proton rockets by 2020: officialBeijing, Nov. 26 -- A cold front will hit north China and ease the smog over the next three days, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said on Wednesday.
The NMC said that smog will hit parts of Beijing and Tianjin municipalities, as well as Hebei, Henan, Shandong and Shanxi provinces on Wednesday, while Baoding City in Hebei will see severe heavy smog.
The center forecast that the smog will be dispersed by a cold front progressing south from north regions starting Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, the NMC said that rain and snow will sweep across most of north China from the west to the east in the coming days, resulting in temperatures dropping by 6 to 10 degrees Celsius in parts of Xinjiang, Gansu, Inner Mongolia and northeast China.
Some parts of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Heilongjiang Province will even experience temperature drops of up to 16 degrees Celsius, together with strong and cold winds.
