
(Pu'er Daily)--The launching ceremony for the Pu'er-Lijiang flight was held at Pu'er Airport on December 29, 2014.
According to the source, there will be a round trip flight between Pu'er and Lijiang every Monday and Friday, i.e. Lijiang-Pu'er flight (13:00--14:00) and Pu'er-Lijiang flight (14:30 --15:30). The flights will be flied by Boeing 737 and Airbus A319, both of which have over 120 seats.
To promote the development of Pu'er's tourism and cultivate its aviation market, Pu'er has launched the routes from Beijing and Shanghai to Pu'er in recent years. A growing number of tourists have gained access to Pu'er via the “air bridges”.
With the launch of the Pu'er-Lijiang route, Pu'er has owned Yunnan's first circular route and the second direct route after the one launched in Kunming. The route has created a broader exchange and cooperation platform for Pu'er and Lijiang, and will play a significant role in promoting the tourism development of Pu'er.
