
BEIJING, Jan. 13 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed ambassadors to Yemen, Cameroon and Micronesia, according to a statement from the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) Tuesday.
Tian Qi has been appointed ambassador to Yemen, replacing Chang Hua.
Wei Wenhua has been appointed ambassador to Cameroon, replacing Wo Ruidi.
Li Jie has been appointed ambassador to Micronesia, replacing Zhang Lianyun.
Xi made the appointments in line with decisions made by the Standing Committee of the NPC, the nation's top legislature.
