
HOHHOT, Jan. 31 -- Six workers were killed and three others injured after an explosion ripped through a factory workshop in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Saturday morning.
The accident happened at a wood panel factory in Genhe City at about 6 a.m., according to the regional administration of work safety.
Fire fighters have managed to put out the fire caused by the explosion, the administration said.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
