In 2014, Xi'an High-tech zone demolished houses with areas of about 864,000 square meters, completed construction waste covering with areas of about 1.49 million square meters, finished garbage removal of 942,000 cube meters, repaired fences and constructed the dedicated channels as long as 1,940 meters, paved the road of 790 meters and made the surface cleanup of 940,000 square meters.
According to statistics, as of December 30, 2014, the number of air quality days in Xi'an High-tech Zone had reached 180, an increase of 48 days over the same period in 2013. According to ambient air quality data of the Xi'an High-tech Zone, concentration of PM10, PM2.5, SO2 in the air decreased by 19.5 percent, 33.0 percent, 27.9 percent respectively year on year.
