
KUNMING, Feb. 4-- Five people were killed and another eight injured in a road accident in southwest China's Yunnan Province on Tuesday, local authorities confirmed on Wednesday.
The accident happened at 8:23 a.m. on Tuesday when a truck collided with a coach on the Ruili section of the expressway that links Shanghai and Yunnan's Ruili City. The dead and injured were all passengers on the coach.
The injured people have been hospitalized, with two of them in a serious condition, according to local authorities.
