
BEIJING, Feb. 11 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed ambassadors to Brunei, Bangladesh, Israel and Romania, according to a statement from the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) Wednesday.
Yang Jian has been appointed ambassador to Brunei, replacing Zheng Xianglin.
Ma Mingqiang has been appointed ambassador to Bangladesh, replacing Li Jun.
Zhan Yongxin has been appointed ambassador to Israel, replacing Gao Yanping.
Xu Feihong has been appointed ambassador to Romania, replacing Huo Yuzhen.
Xi made the appointments in line with decisions made by the Standing Committee of the NPC, the nation's top legislature.
