COPENHAGEN, Feb. 15 -- One person was shot dead in the head and two policemen were shot in the arm and leg near Copenhagen's main synagogue near the Norreport metro station, police said in a statement early Sunday.
The police did not clarify when the accident happened, only saying that "it is still too early to say whether the shooting is related to yesterday's shootings at Krudttoenden" through its official Twitter account.
"We can not yet say anything about the injured persons' condition," said the police on its Twitter account.
According to the police, the perpetrator fled on foot from the site, which is not far from the city's one of the busiest metro stations.
The station has since been evacuated, according to the Danish news agency Ritzau.
