
BEIJING, March 2-- The China Innovation Index (CII), barometer of the nation's innovation capability, rose 3.1 percent to 152.8 in 2013, China's statistics authority said Monday.
In April 2013, a National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) research team released the CII results for the first time, covering the 2005 to 2011 period amid the country's push to build an innovation-driven society.
