KUNMING, March 5 -- More than 900 fire-fighters are working to put out a forest fire that has raged for over 10 hours in southwest China's Yunnan Province, local authorities said on Thursday.
The fire broke out in a forest in Chenggong District, provincial capital of Kunming City, at around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the district's publicity department.
The blaze had been put under control as of 8:30 a.m.. No casualties have been reported yet.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
