WUHAN, March 10 -- Police in the central Chinese province of Hubei apprehended 25 suspected members of an organized trans-provincial drug syndicate.
The Hubei Jingzhou City Police also seized 20 kilograms of narcotics, three vehicles and 1.15 million yuan (186,780 U.S. dollars), local police said on Tuesday.
Police began to track the movements of a known heroin and methamphetamine drug dealer from Shashi City in June last year. The investigation led to the arrests in January 2015.
The syndicate had sold drugs in Hubei, Shaanxi, Guangdong and Jiangsu provinces.
The investigation continues.
