BEIJING, March 15 -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said on Sunday that the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping this year to the United States will give a strong boost to China-U.S ties.
The China-U.S. relationship is the one between the largest developing country and the largest developed country in the world, he said.
"We have proposed that China and the United States work together to build a new model of major-country relationship featuring mutual respect, win-win cooperation, no-conflict and no-confrontation," Li said at a press conference after the conclusion of the annual legislative session.
