
CHANGSHA, March 24 -- A flooded shale mine in central China's Hunan Province trapped six miners on Monday night, local authorities said.
The accident happened at about 9:40 p.m. in Muxia Village of Sangzhi County, Zhangjiajie City, according to the city's publicity department.
The city government has set up headquarters at the mine to oversee the rescue.
