
BEIJING, March 31 -- China has welcomed the applications of Russia and Finland to join the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank on Monday, one day before the deadline to join the bank as a founding member.
Russia and Finland will become founding members on April 14 and April 12, respectively, should all existing members approve, according to a statement on the Finance Ministry's website.
