
SHIJIAZHUANG, April 9 -- Spring Airlines is about to launch two new services linking Shijiazhuang, capital city of north China's Hebei Province, with Jeju in the Republic of Korea, and Bangkok in Thailand.
The flights to Jeju, operating daily, will start on April 12. The low-cost airline said on Thursday that fares will start from just nine yuan (1.5 U.S. dollars).
The outbound flight will depart from Shijiazhuang at 6:50 p.m., and arrive in Jeju at 10:35 p.m. local time. The returning flight will depart from Jeju at 7:30 a.m. and lands in Shijiazhuang at 9 a.m. local time.
The Bangkok service will start on May 21, and fly every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The price for the first flight will only be 399 yuan, the airline said.
The outbound flight will depart from Shijiazhuang at 12:15 a.m. and arrive in Bangkok at 4:45 p.m. local time. And the return will depart from Bangkok on 6:35 a.m. and land in Shijiazhuang at 11:15 a.m. local time.
Jeju and Bangkok are among the leading destinations favored by outbound Chinese tourists.
