
BEIJING, April 10 -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will pay an official visit to South Africa on Tuesday and Wednesday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said on Friday.
He and his South African counterpart will talk about preparation for the sixth Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), Hua said.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the FOCAC, a platform established in 2000 for collective consultation. The ministerial meeting will take place in South Africa later this year.
