
CHENGDU, April 13 -- A pilot was killed when a helicopter crashed in southwest China's Sichuan Province on Monday afternoon, local authorities confirmed.
The helicopter crashed in Lezhi county at around 3:40 p.m. after spraying insecticide on a local forest for over an hour. No other casualties were reported.
Witness said the helicopter may have hit a power line before it crashed.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
