
NANJING, April 24 -- Senior officials of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Taiwan-based Kuomintang (KMT) party met in Nanjing on Friday.
Zhang Zhijun, head of the CPC Taiwan Work Office, met with Hau Lung-pin, vice chairman of the KMT, and they exchanged views on advancing relations of the two parties and the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
Hau will also attend a series of events marking the 10th anniversary of "a shared vision for cross-Strait peaceful development", initiated by leaders of the two parties in 2005.
