
KATHMANDU, April 26 -- A 6.7-magnitude aftershock jolted Nepal on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was centered 31 km SE of Kodari, Nepal, the USGS said.
Xinhua reporter said the aftershock lasted almost two minutes.
The death toll from the 7.9 magnitude earthquake which struck Nepal at midday on Saturday has climbed to 1,896, including 723 in the Nepal's capital Kathmandu, a senior government official told Xinhua on Sunday morning.
