
BEIJING, April 29 -- Bad weather has been forecast for the three-day Labor Day holiday, which starts on Friday, with many parts of China set to experience strong wind, heavy rain, and hailstorms.
The National Meteorological Center (NMC) said heavy wind, rain and sometimes hailstorms will sweep across northern China on Friday, while brief, but strong, rainfall and occasional strong wind and hail will occur in most parts of southern China during the holiday.
The NMC warned travellers of bad weather and advised them to make preparations.
