
As of March 31, 11,236 people from the Xi'an high-tech zone have filed with an annual income of over 120,000 yuan for their tax returns. The total amounts of taxable income reached 2.15 billion yuan, with 373.6 million yuan of paid tax and 659,000 yuan in back taxes.
The tax authority has publicized their tax policies on their website as well as via QQ and Sina Weibo to increase the awareness of individuals to pay their taxes. For those with an annual income of over 120,000 yuan, the authority has set up an additional declaration window.
