BEIJING, May 18 -- A bus driver in Beijing died while on duty on Monday, local authorities said.
At around 8 a.m., Yang Yong, the driver of No.941 express bus from Zhongmensi to Beijing West Station, suddenly fell unconscious at the wheel.
He managed to pull over before losing control of the bus, said Beijing Bus Group, adding that all passengers were safe.
Yang was later taken to hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Cause of the death is under investigation.
