
BEIJING, May 19 -- Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong will visit Bangladesh and Indonesia from May 24 to 31, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei said Tuesday.
Hong said at a regular press briefing that Liu will visit the countries at the invitation of the government of Bangladesh and Indonesian Coordinating Minister of Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani.
During her visit to Indonesia, Liu will join Puan in co-hosting the first meeting of the deputy-prime-ministerial cultural exchange mechanism between China and Indonesia, Hong said.
