BEIJING, May 26 -- The People's Liberation ArmyNavy will continue to organize and perform regular combat readiness patrols and maintain a military presence in relevant sea areas, a white paper on China's military strategy says Tuesday.
The document says China's armed forces will continue to improve its routine combat readiness, maintain a posture of high alertness, and conscientiously organize border, coastal and air defense patrols and guard duties.
The PLA Army will improve its combat readiness system with inter-connected strategic directions, combined arms and systematized operational support, so as to ensure agile maneuvers and effective response, says the white paper, issued by the State Council Information Office.
It says the PLA Air Force will continue to observe the principles of applicability in peacetime and wartime, all-dimensional response and full territorial reach, and maintain vigilant and efficient combat readiness.
It adds that by observing the principles of combining peacetime and wartime demands, maintaining all time vigilance and being action-ready, the PLA Second Artillery Force will prefect the integrated, functional, agile and efficient operational duty system.
