
TIANJIN, May 29 -- Three people died after a coach carrying 21 people fell into a river in north China's Tianjin Municipality on Friday afternoon, local police said.
The accident, caused by misoperation by the driver, happened around 2 p.m. on a road in Xiqing District. Three people drowned and the other 18 were rescued from the water as of 5:20 p.m.
The driver is in police custody and further investigation into the cause is under way.
