
CHANGSHA, May 30 (Xinhua) -- Four people died and another four are missing after a gas outburst at a coal mine in central China's Hunan Province on Saturday morning, local authorities said.
The accident happened at about 2:10 a.m. at Qisi Coal Mine Co. Ltd. in Xinshao County when 11 people were working in the shaft.
Three managed to escape and four died. As of 10 p.m., four are still missing.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
