BEIJING, June 11 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Chairperson of Myanmar's National League for Democracy (NLD) Aung San Suu Kyi here on Thursday afternoon.
Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, held the meeting with Suu Kyi at the Great Hall of the People.
Invited by the CPC, Suu Kyi is on her first China visit from Wednesday to Sunday.
