BRUSSELS, June 29 -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said Monday that China is considering launching a China-EU investment platform to back European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker's plan to revive European economy and in particular large infrastructure projects.
Li made the remarks while addressing the opening ceremony of an EU-China business summit. He also said China will buy more bonds issued by the European Investment Bank.
He said the Silk Road Fund, tasked to improve infrastructure connectivity between Asia and Europe, would provide support for China-Europe cooperation in hi-tech development, infrastructure construction and financial services.
