
BEIJING, July 2 -- Chinese stocks opened higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.12 percent to open at 4,058.62.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 13,655.73, up 0.04 percent.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 0.11 percent lower at 2,756.24 points.
