A thief ripped off 2,000 yuan and two cell phones in a house in Hefei, east China’s Anhui province on the early morning of July 2. Believing the thief would come again, Ms Zhang, the house owner, and her husband set an alarm for 3:50 a.m. on the following night. Surprisingly, the audacious thief came to Zhang’s house again. When Zhang and her husband were woken up by the alarm, they saw the thief lying on their balcony. Her husband immediately ran after the thief, but the thief finally ran away.
