China has produced nearly 200,000 new energy vehicles as of June 2015, of which the production volume of the first half of 2015 reached 78,500 units, increasing three times compared with the same period of last year, according to the China (Changchun) 2015 International Smart Logistic Science and Technology Forum held from July 12 to 13.
Li Jun, academician of China Chinese Academy of Engineering, pointed out that lightweight automobile is an important development direction for China's vehicles. To reduce material costs, improve material properties, accumulate research and development experience and reform production process is the only way to realize the production of lightweight automobiles.
