
BEIJING, Nov. 26 - China will announce new measures to promote its comprehensive cooperation with Africa at an upcoming summit between the two sides, said Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Thursday.
Wang said China will help Africa build up industrialization, food security and public health and prevention system, of which Africa is in great need.
The minister made the remarks at the ministry's 15th Lanting Forum at the upcoming Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in Johannesburg of South Africa.
President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to South Africa and chair the forum from Dec. 2 to 5.
