Six China-made high-speed trains will be put into use for the first time at the end of this year along the Chengdu to Chongqing line.
Models CRH380D and CRH380A are currently the fastest high-speed trains in China, with the highest operating speed up to 380km/h. With eight cars, CRH380D is 215.3 meters in length, 4.16 meters in height and 3.3 meters in width. It has business class, first class and second class seating, with a capacity of about 560 passengers.
Currently, the test work of the Chengdu-Chongqing high-speed rail is nearing completion. It will start trail operation very soon. Travelers from Chengdu to Chongqing may experience China's fastest high-speed train in the near future.
