BEIJING, Dec. 21 -- China will focus on shoring up weak areas in economic growth by expanding effective supply, said a statement released Monday after a key economic policy meeting.
The Central Economic Work Conference said China will take targeted measures to reduce poverty, upgrade companies' technology, foster emerging sectors, cultivate talents and improve agricultural production capability and quality.
