China has focused on accelerating the development of clean energy to optimize the energy structure. According to the data from China's National Energy Administration, in 2015 the installed capacity of hydropower reached 320 million KW; the installed capacity of wind power reached 120 million KW; the installed capacity of photovoltaic power reached about 43 million KW. The installed capacity of hydropower, wind power and photovoltaic power increased 140 percent, four times and 168 times respectively during the 12th Five-Year Plan period (2011-2015).
