BEIJING, Feb. 29 -- Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met with visiting Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan on Monday, pledging to enhance bilateral ties.
China and Singapore agreed to build a partnership of all-round cooperation keeping up with the times during President Xi Jinping's state visit to the country last year, Li said.
"China is willing to work with Singapore to increase political mutual trust, practical cooperation and people-to-people exchanges to advance bilateral relations," Li said.
Hailing the productive bilateral cooperation, Balakrishnan said Singapore attaches great importance to its relationship with China and is willing to make unremitting effort to promote all-round cooperation.
