A mother from Melbourne, Australia, braids her daughter’s hair every morning before school and has gained great popularity by posting her braided masterpieces on Instagram.

Shelley Gifford, the talented mom, has created many new hairstyles such as heart and star shaped braids, and it only takes her 10- 20 minutes to finish one braid. She can also do themed hair for special holidays, such as hearts for Valentine's Day and bones for Halloween.

Gifford has gained over 100,000 fans on Instagram since she started to post photos of her braids in 2014. With no hairdressing experience, Gifford is self-taught with a real passion for braiding. “I watch a lot of videos and check a lot of other braiding Instagram accounts. A lot of the time I combine two or three different braids to create a new style,” Gifford said.

The mother now also braids other young girl's hair for special events like weddings and confirmations.
