China Railway plans to comprehensively implement the new and optimized railway diagram in mid-May, to open over 300 pairs of passenger trains- the largest incremental adjustment in recent years.
From March 14 to mid-April, only the tickets before May 12 will be sold to make way for the adjustment. The total number of passenger trains will reach 3400 pairs in the new diagram, among which high-speed trains will account for over 2100 pairs.
Besides, “Red-eye” high-speed trains will be largely increased in lines especially from Beijing to Shanghai by then.
