As days get warmer, rapeseed flowers bloom into sea across China. Photos taken on March 12, 2016 show a giant Chinese character meaning “dragon” (龍) drawn in an 80,000-square-meter rapeseed flower field in Anshui, southwest China’s Guizhou province.

“龍” is an ancient way of writing dragon in traditional Chinese characters, as it is now “龍” in its simplified version. The one in the flower field is a cuisive font of the character, which is often seen in calligraphical works.
